Ronseal 6 Year Anti Mould Paint is resistant to moisture and steam and will prevent the growth of mould on walls and ceilings for up to 6 years.  This makes it ideal for use in kitchens, bathrooms or any other humid environment where mould might grow.

HOW TO USE:

The working environment should be above 10°C and well ventilated.  Use dust sheets to protect surfaces from ant paint spills or flecks.  If the walls or ceilings have recently been plastered they will need to be left for 7 days and the plaster must be sealed before using the Anti Mould Paint.

If there is mould already present on previously painted walls, it will need to be removed with a mould killer first.  Sand off any flaking paint to provide a smooth surface for the new paint.

Stir the paint thoroughly to a smooth consistency, pour into a and cost the or , wiping off any excess on the rim of the tray.  Apply the first coat and allow 4 hours drying time before applying the second coat.  Wait a further 4 hours and if the original colour is still showing through, apply further coats until the colour can n longer be seen.  After the last coat is dry leave 24 hours before allowing any condensation to build up.

Routine cleaning simply involves scrubbing the surface as the paint is extra tough.  Brushes or rollers can be cleaned in warm, soapy water.

*  Please note that this product should not be over-painted as this will stop it from working and risk mould re-growth.
